bluewave
I made a list of years when June started off with a 90 degree day in NYC. The next two days had to stay below 90 degrees to be similar to this June. I added how long it took for NYC to reach 90 degrees again. The last time these conditions were met was during the 1989 La Nina year. 6-1-89.....91... next 90...... 6-26-89...90 6-1-88.....90......................6-12-88...90 6-1-87.....93......................6-15-87...94 6-1-86.....90......................6-23-86...91 6-1-62.....92......................6-16-62...91 6-1-37.....93......................6-25-37...93 6-1-1879.92.....................6-27-1879..

Isotherm
I always feel shaky forecasting temps for KNYC, but I do think EWR and LGA will hit 90 later this week (probably 6/8 or 6/9, maybe both).
