NY WeatherMom
Sleeting with rain/snow mix here in the Southern Dutchess area. Windy too. Already got the snow delay list ready for work tomorrow(I dispatch school buses) in case schools over in Ellenville and Monticello delay or cancel. So not ready for this yet-but bring it on! I was in Oneonta for the October 2008 storm...got around 4"...but if the NAM is right this could be even worse. Crazy stuff indeed. This storm has to come in to line just so or its game over, the dynamics are nuts for this time of year and are the only reason this might happen (or not)

IrishRob17
Sitting @ 30F, I guess it should drop one more degree before hitting bottom. That was my low, Im up to 31 now. I can't believe we have a Winter Storm Watch on Oct 28.... Most of the leaves IMBY are down but I know there is still plenty of foliage on trees in the area. This is going to get interesting. Radders
Had a low of 29F, nice heavy frost. That's the first freeze out of the way, now let's see how we do with snow accumulations lol! Amazing that we will potentially have our first flakes, hard freeze and accumulating snow all as separate events across a period of 3 days in October!
