TJay
SPC WRF has the worst of the weather and bow echo line in sim radar in eastern PA.. It starts falling apart as it moves east and the HV doesnt look to be in the mix.
Logan11
We had a T storm about an hour + ago as the line now along the HV was in it's birth process. I see the best line is now from central Columbia down through Dutchess and POU to just above SWF. It brightens up for a only a very few seconds now and then thru cloudy skies, temp here dropped a degree. I think there are too many little areas of showers to let the skies clear in orange co atm in NW jersey and eastern Pa. Ulster Co and north and east are having a loud late morning early afternoon. Waiting on the SPC WRF

gravitylover
Boy did we get soaked here in Mahopac today. 7 days, I just want 7 days in a row without rain. Any chance of that happening in 2011? I'm getting tired of riding in the mud ...
Juliancolton
That Dutchess line must have moved right over Julian C. from here..... A couple friends and fellow weather enthusiasts told me the worst of it on radar went right over my house, basically. I was in Poughkeepsie at the time and missed it. Came back to some trees down in the area, but nothing serious.

Juliancolton
Oh my... Irene? Yep. Models have been trending east with the cyclone, and while I doubt we end up with a Cat 2 sitting just to our east, I think we could end up with substantial impacts from the storm. Especially given all the heavy rain lately.
