3pm:

JFK: 91

LGA: 86

NYC: 87

EWR: 91

Im up to 88.5 at work in Bayside and at home in Astoria temps are 90-91.

LGA is being directly affected by the water as areas of western Nassau County that sit directly on the water, like Port Washington are all 81-86 as well.

The sky is sooooo blue I love it! Reminds me of Mediterranean summers. I wish we could keep these dews all summer.

Me too-- its like fall skies in summer! It reminds me of last September! Why cant we have dew points like this all the time :( It's 46 here right now.

I think NYC has a chance. LGA probably not as there is a pretty gusty NNW wind directly hitting it off the 70-75 degree water.

The stupid News12 people are doing the same thing the newscasters do in the winter when they say inland will get more snow than we will all the time-- they just said the north shore will be the only place to hit 90 ("north and west will hit 90 everywhere else in the 80s!") they're saying this even while reporting JFK is like 3-5 degrees warmer than everyone else LOL

Most dont understand weather.

On a north wind, its obvious that southern areas, not being affected by the "sound" breeze, will be warmer.

Same as an "ocean sea breeze", where north areas are warmer.

The stupid sea breeze just came in and dropped our temps 6 degrees and the dew point went up by 11 degrees !

!#%()*&%$&*())))^$###$%%% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AG, this isnt good news for you guys either, because your temps AND humidity will go up markedly.

Oh well, at least I got over 90 for awhile.

yes, with CPK's ring of skyscrapers, it's akin to digging a pit and then sticking an anemometer at the bottom and trying to gauge wind direction

that's also the reason I give very little credence to snowfall totals from CPK during blizzards...what would would accumulate on the surface areas of all of those skyscrapers instead blows lazily down into the park

I'm probably off base with that one, but I like to use it to explain why 14 inches at my house equals 27 in the Park (I live about 1/2 mile from the Park)
