Some folks posts are sure getting tiring. Same stuff over and over again.

.. looks like were done with the rain until tomorrow afternoon sometime with the dryslot moving in. Maybe some of us can get the lawns mowed tomorrow

Don't be so hard on yourself. We all love your optimism about the sun, heat and humidity. Eventually, you'll get the nut.

So cool. Literally. I love it here but wish we had some high peaks nearby. I thought I'd have to lose myself in the Alaskan footage this summer to take my mind off the heat but so far.....

I was in Glacier last year...the Going to the Sun road opened like June 28th, I believe. That's when I started working 50 hr weeks at the cafe LOL.

It looks as if they may not open as early as last year. Last year was very snowy in MT during the spring/early summer...we had a huge storm on June 16th that dropped like 1' of snow in the high peaks, with 3" falling at Logan Pass which is around 6600'. But this year has topped that, with many stations in the West reporting record snowpack, in essence having a mid-April snowpack in mid-June. Utah has really gotten socked too.

I generate discussion and create controversy. Without me all you guys would have would be "rain" cool temps " no heat "sun angle lower" "no torch here" rain" cool summer" "leaves turning color in June" no sun in SE CT" "cool" "rain" "cloudy and cool"

If that's what you want then let me know

I'm just going to call you "Sunshine".

I read reports about Montana snow melt and the Missouri river floods, most impressive snow pack.

Nah its entertaining. It's much better then the daily posts by a certain someone about how "We avoided another day of potential heat" and how were going to have a "cool and rainy summer."

I'm not sure I'd call 61/61 in late June as humid. I guess you could if you want to go with the relative humidity angle.

it sure does suck when you're trying to do manual labor in rain gear...i don't care how "breathable" the lable says...in this stickiness you pretty much get wet in or out of the rain gear...

We love the Blizz vs hyper-snow dichotomy

there's actually pretty significant rotation in that cell just south of ACK.

SMW out for a possible waterspout with that.

* AT 621 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A WATERSPOUT 5 NM EAST OF THE COASTAL WATERS SOUTH OF NANTUCKET...MOVING EAST AT 25 KNOTS.

Should be some video out if it happens, lots of boats out there. Earlier south of BID looked interesting too.
