Winds may go NE..but the cool, dry air will never make it..not with the front right along the south coast.this isn't the same deal we had 2 weeks ago

dews probably won't go below 60F with so much cloud cover and periodic shower activity. but they probably will settle back some as the backdoor continues to sag south and the ne flow holds on. maybe they come back up on friday?

Anything over 60 is muggy..65 humid....

We'll be able to get an idea where they'll go in CT when we see what ORH dewpoint is.

So far anyway looks like the GFS has won on frontal placement and firing convection whereas the NAM had things much more stable

what's with the HFD to BDL temp and dew discrepancy? those two spots seem really close to one another geographically speaking but they are 6F apart. cooler/drier air draining down the valley on N wind and reaches BDL? i don't know the placement of the locales well enough.

I've been wondering the same thing. Literally HFD is like 10 minutes south down 91 from BDL. They are close. BDL hs some higher hills to the NW and NE..so only thing I can think of is "relatively" lower temps/tds got stuck in there. IJD is even 73/70

Unless the boundary lies between BDL and HFD..which doesn't seem to be the case since both have N winds. Odd
