Yeah either dark oil..or better yet baby oil..Just use like a half bottle..lay a towel on your roof, climb out the window and tan away on the roof. Nothing like laying on black tar asphalt shingles soaked in baby oil, tanning and listening to When Doves Cry

LOL.

 ....12z ECMWF trended heavily toward skorken shnorzel from the plistine zargonault ... so you may want to consider this.

The PNA does fall as we head into July as well. The only thing that makes me a little cautious with the big heat is the persistent weak -NAO. However, that may weaken and eventually the heat may get in here towards the 4th?? We'll see I guess.

I'll take some rain Thursday and Friday if it means Saturday and Sunday can be decent. Maybe some tstms to really enhance Kevin's fetish.

yeah i hate cloudy / cool weather from april 1 to sep 1 but if it's going to happen, it should bring some rain with it. thankfully chances look pretty decent right now for seeing some.

it'll be interesting to see how the temps shake out. MOS has been woefully too warm going into the last few times we've had easterly flow and precip. the last time it looked like a warm front would end up over or north of us we were cold for 4 days. LOL.

If the wind is more e-se..I think it may be a little warmer and more humid, than what it would be if it were more e-ne. However, if we get a little wave forming along the warm front to help lock in the ne winds, it will likely be pretty dam raw with temps struggling to get into the lower 60s.

Another beauty, great day to work outside! Looks like some liquid gold coming our way the next couple days with a few afternoon showers, thats money to my ears literally, every time we have been close to really needing some water mother nature produces. After the last few days of ridiculously low dewpoints and strong summer sun, we welcome the drops from the heavens with open arms!

Weekend looks like a beach winner!!!!!!!!!!

euro looks like it would get hold all of MA and most of RI in the 60s...would allow 70ish in CT. maybe 90 in Fairfield.

Lets hope so! Weather looks miserable out there later this week, better bring in some wood for the fireplace!

the control run of the ec ens suite looks like it gives one day +/- of heat right around the beginning of july, then dumps a trough right back into the northeast.

Yeah if you look at the height anomalies, it is almost a classic pattern to shove big heat into SNE. We have a big upper level trough centered just off the Pacific NW with the flow yanking a heat plume right off the desert southwest and Rockies...and right across the northern tier, towards SNE. However, it keeps getting cut off at the pass for now. It still looks warm and perhaps humid, but I just don't know how much of that heat makes it into SNE. It may eventually come, however.

Kevin gets his 70 wish on the euro. Congrats on -10 departures??

You guys keep missing the point..As long as it's 70/68 or whatever..it's still summery outside. It doesn't have to be 85. What I hate is 60/54 like you keep forecasting . 70 with high dews is very comfortable and offers storm chances instead of stratifrom light rain and sheet drizzle shooting SW up your fanny off the ocean

LOL who's forecasting that, Spinderella??

Much of the rain will be stratiform anyways since temps will be stable..though it could be heavy at times. Maybe a rumble of thunder or two if dynamics work out.

i despise sheet drizzle and cloudy, cool weather. but i do get a kick out of how much it pisses you off. i think you might hate it more than i do.

WIth TT's dropping and the w/f nearby and some lift..we should be able to bang out some nice elevated thunder tomorrow night-Saturday
