weatherMA
This summer is shaping up like 2009 redux Except for the fact that we didn't see the sun once for a 2-3 weeks period in June. If we get that again then The past 3 days have been sunny and 70s to near 80 and that will continue into Wednesday. 2009 sucked. This is awesome. Tropopause_Fold
Yup. Ugly. These warm-season ULL can result in pretty serious flash flooding in some areas. i like those summer set-ups where the whole column flow is nicely aligned S to N and you get those super high pwat thin training lines that just get enhanced as the day goes on. we haven't had one of those in a while. I have trouble seeing it being 55- 60 degrees and rain for 3-4 days in a row. Maybe we have one day like that and then it transforms into a more showery/thundery interlude with temps in the low-mid 70's

Well there were some comments insinuating 60 degrees and rain Thur-Sat..At least that's how i interpreted them. Let's just have heavy ,training rains with thunder and high dewpoints. I think everyone would sign up for that

CoastalWx
The ensembles (especially euro) seem blocky in the NAO region. CPC NAO values really never avg out to neutral either. That might argue that prolonged heat is gonna be tough to come by in the next two weeks. Maybe it snaps back after?
