I figured as much, its not a wash out.........some sun, especially at the coast should be a decent seabreeze with storms firing inland, head to the RI coast or the cape!

Sheesh.

My two weeks of freedom this month begin on Wed. I'm trying to decide between staying on the fabulous Vim Toot yacht in exclusive and tony Chester CT or do I drive home to the Maritimes mecca of Aroostook County?

Thanks to CT Rain's recent input here I am leaning toward the frozen north.

Now, if I let Blizzy influence my choice I'd never leave CT as it all HEAT! HEAT! HEAT! all summer. If I go with MRG it's all cool, cool, cool. Up to this point, MRG is flensing Blizzy- cool & rainy is definitely winning.

Thank Heavens I'm ignoring the self-loathing neighbor-hating bvirgin or I'd spend my days off in Vancouver where the liberal nihilist mindset bvirgin captures here: "awful stereotype. Boring, uninspiring upper-middle class western culture at it's most depressing" was outwardly expressed the recent evening of their loss in a hockey game.

Of course, bvirgin's self contempt comes out as an indictment projected on to all "those others" in Western Culture who he lives amongst. It's not cool to hate all the good around him, the toad.

bvirgin, It wasn't cool to learn to hate your own civilization in community college sociology classes then and it's not cool today when you hear some balding pony-tail in natural fabrics or an ugly sneering dyke parroting that same hate.

Stop knocking Western Culture, doorknob. You owe everything good to it and would live in hell without it.

Hairnet.

There, that settles it- I'm going to Aroostook County where it's still 1958.

And there's nothing wrong with that!

Yeah but even if Euro is right if it's mid-upper 60's..dews are close to that as well..so it would be sticky..None of that cold, east flow nonsense we had last week

we'll see how it goes over the next few days. not a fan of the trend recently.

my worry is the flow is pretty blocked up. that ULL locked in to our northeast means a lot of upper level confluence over the maritimes and E canada, which should support, to some degree, strengthening/maintaining HP to our north-northeast. i could see that feature feeding down some drier air in the low levels on ENE flow...then add in that warm front to our south and you've got disaster.

hopefully everything ends up bogged down to our north and we are warm and muggy with showers/thunder.

This 4 day stretch is AS GOOD AS IT GETS, and close to the best I have ever seen around sne...............days around 80 (70s) elevation, and nighttime lows in the 50s (40s) elevation.........perfect sleeping weather, perfect beach weather, perfect anything weather.

Mostly Sunny skies

A few whispy cirrus

73 degrees

PURE PORN.

Yeah the GFS is about as bad as it gets.

Kevin (for some bizarre reason) as a fetish for off and on +RA when it's 73 and the dew point is 65. He'll be quite pleased with the GFS.

horrible. don't like seeing long E fetch.

that has the look of 60F in parts of SNE - or something dreadful like that.

Yeah GFS verbatim is ugly. Not even 73/65. Maybe 64/62.

Interested to see what the Euro does.

Thursday-Sunday could be a brutal 4 day stretch.

If it does rain for my mini-vacation (thu-sun) i'd rather it be heavy and thunderstorms the whole time.

Despite all of the other trolling and then pseudo-intellect nonsense, you couldn't be more wrong with the bolded.
