free_man
" Is that a weed in my fescue?" lol, played it for my wife who also thought it was very funny. Man, Birving has no sense of humor. Once he has kids he'll really be a fun guy.lol don't get me wrong, It IS funny , the irony really shows through.... the people enjoying it so much , at least on here, are the ones who fall into that awful stereotype. Boring, uninspiring upper-middle class western culture at it's most depressing. I guess that should be left as one of those unspoken type of gems. And I am a dad, my daughter Ashlyn is 6 years 7 months.

weatherwiz
9 years ago on Father's Day (although that was the 16th) there was a nasty severe wx outbreak.
CoastalWx
A 2-3 day warm up later this week, but still no prolonged heat domes making its way into New England it seems. Especially, if the NAO tries to remain somewhat negative.

weatherwiz
I don't know. I don't see anyhting cooler than low-mid 80's thru next weekend. If the warm front doesn't pass through we'll see mid 70's to lower 80's...mid 70's if we have lots of cloud debris and junk to deal with. If we are able to warm sector, which is very iffy at this time, then I could see mid to near upper 80's...maybe close to 90F depending on level of heating. We don;'t need the warm sector to move north to see 80 this time of year. At any rate. the GFS as usual is wrong. The w/f will end up near the Canadian border. Foreign models 1,000,000,000 ... It could be very difficult to get the warm front to lift through with that closed low just off to our northwest and not much of anything to really propel the warm front northward through our area. Logan11
But no torches. If BDL hits 88-90 one day it isn't a torch considering their micro climate in that valley. ski MRG
Kinda humid over there. 43 Td here..... lol. Just brutal. Currently 71/50 here. Just about perfect, even a nice breeze keeping the air moving. Yes, it's nice to be in a place (Plattsburgh, NY) with a liveable climate for the first time this month. Thank God you're not roasting somewhere in Oklahoma. Cutting/splitting/mowing --full day. Amen to that! Woke up freezing last night with all the window fans on filling the house with 43-44 degree air. Temperatures dropped like a rock last night... lots of low to mid 40s last night and even some upper 30s in northeast VT. At the top of the Gondola this morning it was 40F inside the upper terminal at 3,700ft... nothing like wearing a hat and gloves to start the day in June. Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks hit 35F last night... just beautiful stuff in June. Currently only some fair weather clouds forming off the mountain peaks and its 70/45F out there with a stiff breeze. Feels glorious. Looking to get well down into the 40s again tonight, maybe some upper 30s around, too.
