66/62, well, even I must admit today was great, the lack of snow notwithstanding. Very comfortable evening in progress. It's the simple pleasures in life that are the sweetest. Good food, good friends, lawn games and the sound of children laughing and playing. Also, another day of possible heat and humidity avoided.whew!!!

Lovely day, but I could only duck outside a few times because the air is still toxic with tree pollen. It's the honeysuckle in the hedge row that is tormenting me now I think. The wild roses are also nasty. I really think the tree pollen will be done in another week....very late this year. Usually by now we are on to just the grasses. I went down to our place in the HV (Saugerties) to mow the lawn on Thursday and no pollen probs...obviously done there.

Torch!!

It really was a nice one. 73 for the high here. Sorry to hear the allergies are still bothering you. Hopefully that will be done soon.... along with summer.

FWIW ...my bro-in-law Ron Marz was the writer of the Green Lantern book for a number of years in the 90's.... He isn't getting any royalties from the movie. LOL

saw Green Lantern, played some frisbee, ate some blueberries, watered the gardens...good day, we hit the 80's...it's just a tad humid over comfortable...but a great day none the less!

Everything is OK just continue to enjoy this nice weather and lay low. Starting to get into baseball now that hockey is done. Wish the World Cup of Hockey or Canada Cup would come back over the summer.

Euro looks okay...GFS doesn't get the warm front here...

Yeah that's the major worry I have, getting the warm front to lift through here. If anything the front wouldn't come through at least parts of SNE until Friday. With really no well defined sfc low to our west and not a great deal of northeast progression I think it gets held up to our south. I'd like to see more on the way of a defined sfc low that is a bit stronger than what is shown now and something that is either slightly deepening or at least remaining steady strength wise.
