Very little to like about the heat. A golf ball travels farther. That's about all i can come up with. Oh, bikinis.

Well, if you can still pull it off, more power to you.

I suppose yesterday might have been a bit much, but today looks pretty sweet. Good fishing day.

Down here, it looks like an oven again in Louisiana tomorrow. Might be tolerable Thursday in North Carolina.

I usually go down there once or twice a year, never after May 15th though.

One year in I believe 2004 I went to TX/LA in June or early July, it was literally 98F every day with 75 dews.... 110+ HI...never made that mistake again. I think the lows were around 83-85 for a few nights. lol

Southbound on the Hudson off Dobbs Ferry.

I got the heat on. Nice low-hanging overcast and a light north wind following us.

That hot air wafting the length of my bare and still shapefully handsome gams (All the gals tell me this and we fellows know that chicks smitten never lie...) is a pleasant luxury on what has the look and feel of an early November day.

This is a cool June. It's getting cooler for the month with each passing day.

Cool summer boyz. Stack your wood deep, high & square because winter's coming.

Vim Toot!

Cool it shall be. A few ugly intrusions of warm air but overall a cool one. Nice cruise down the Hudson I bet. Love that trek.

I hate the cool/cold more than anything else...just about. Unless it's snowing out.

Considering there was zero chance of severe, better off saving on the electric bills/ A/C and have it nice and cool.

Looks like next week (June 20-27) we'll have a shot of some more heat and severe.

I'm not a frog.... I can't enjoy 0F and then easily acclimate to rain forest conditions. :devilsmiley: I like colder wx plain and simple. Summer is just an annoying inconvenience. I make the best of it, stick a vegetables in, etc....but I mainly feel disdain for the warm wx. 65-75 and low humidity I am comfortable in, but that's boring as hell also right.

I'll take the 85+...this cold just sucks, everything is just freezing, cramp up...it's awful.

Yeah this week is looking pretty quiet. Looks like the next substantial trough works into the west coast sometime next weekend and then slides east each day eventually pumping up some ridging here into the Northeast...that's when we'll see some higher heat and humidity again.

I'm kind of hoping though the ridge doesn't get too far north...hopefully we just stay right on the crest of it so we can get more of a westerly mid-level flow and better lapse rates.

Currently down in the Hudson Valley. Not much better here. 60's and overcast instead of low 50's and drizzle. It'll be nice to have the balance of the summer cool and cloudy.

you must look awful in a swimsuit to hate summer so much

It's not so much that I hate summer, I am very active through all the seasons, it's just that I love Winter. Also, I'm a builder, working long hours in the blazing sun is a drag.

Pete is one of the most athletic people on the board kojak

With all the time he spends trolling in our threads you'd think he'd have caught on that I'm no couch potato.lol
