What a great summer day! This is whats its all about, worked hard, drank tons of water....now its time to pick up the little ones. Temps peaked in Greenwich and Stamford today away from LIS up to 99 on the car thermo, probably was around 97 or so. Love coming home 25 miles east, watching the temp drop steadily!!

Not hot at the hacienda, warm and delightful, I could never imagine living inland outside of the mountains, the valleys today must be atrocious.

Best spring ever rooooooooooooooooolling on baby!

Yup, a warm summer day here, low 80's at 2k, mid 80's here. Worked our azzes off but with lots of water even working in the direct sun was not an issue. Not even close. A few more warm hours tomorrow and then back to the regularly scheduled cool mountain air. It's healthy to sweat out the toxins.

Too warm for my liking up this way. I'm impressed you were able to stay low 80s at 2k feet.... up here it looks like our highs based on elevation were:

4,000ft... 77F

2,100ft... 86F

1,500ft... 88F

800ft.... 90F

DT's blog says no heat until after 6/25....

-

would love it if we warm sector Sunday.... all this heat during the week and then when the chance to swim comes up 2 weekends in a row, it's too cool....

Yeah, I hope we verify warmer then forecast. After today and yesterday of 90s, and 80 tomorrow, all my highs are forecast to be 67-73. A little warmer then that like 75-82 would be nice.

Lately it seems we've either had a torch or 65-70 and we haven't had much of the comfortable temps in between.

We were at Penfield Mem Day Weekend, there were jelly fish, and the water was suprisingly warm, we all swam. I have a feeling Kevin is right, there should be plenty of sun to go around.

Pretty big temp bust today, which I could see coming.....not sure I'd ever call for upper 90's with so much in the way of clouds and showers around.

87 for the high, so far.

I was thrilled with the bust of the heat. It was nasty enough with mid-upper 80s and high dew points.

64/61, A high of 85, T-storm activity cooled things off nicely. As I expected the promises of 90's across the high terrain proved false. Very hard to achieve. With that we'll now transition back to some comfortable, cool weather with upper 60's and low 70's the norm here in the highlands. Nice to get a little thunder but, for me, this weather is quite boring. I'm glad that we've come through May and now the first week of June unscathed wrt high heat.Soon the days will start to grow shorter.

Edit: Low 60's for highs Saturday it would appear.

Wow, I thought that snow pile would have been gone by now. Where is that pile in Framingham?

The article says its 3 feet high...looks more like 6 feet high in the pic.

My friend is a supervisor for the company in charge of maintenance and snow removal. He just told me about that today. People are posing in front of it..lol.

We had snowpiles into June from a snow dump in Foxboro after the '78 Blizzard, but the Framingham one was soooooo huge.

I don't think it sees July 1, but maybe
