There will be no storms this afternoon within 50 miles of Washington. Everyone go away. Nothing to see here

i only start threads when our area gets hit.

I'm actually changing my prediction - the only place that will see a storm today is Leesburg. There will be a stationary supercell over them that will dump hail and damaging winds for 6 hours straight.

I mean i just want some weather, no big deal. Should be able to post about it, sounds like a basic plan. I admire Ian for what he does.

No doubt, Katie - I'm just saying - PM function works better for these types of requests :)

I know - just causing trouble, I am.

ji has been on facebook complaining about the weight of the sun

Ji is like a bear but in reverse - he comes out in force during the winter to ravage us all and then goes into a long hibernation for the spring and summer months. No worries folks - he will be back...more ferocious than ever.

Grizzly in training... no one can act like Ji

You should tune in for the NatGeo special I heard about the other night then.

"Beasts of the AmericanWx Forest"

It's going to be an hour long special on a host of the wildlife that United States weather enthusiasts have to deal with. They got some awesome HD shots of weatherwiz (Hannah Montana) - going to be the next big NatGeo show.
