DeVries
Crazy this town is within 5 miles of that tornado and hasn't even gotten rain this afternoon. I've seen some big action narrowly miss this town every year, but this takes the cake.

NEK_VT_Upslope_Event
This date will be up there in infamy with the worst of them in NE weather history: 6/1/11. My sense is that we don't know anything yet as it relates to death/injuries. I don't think it will be worst case midwest bad but I wouldn't be surprised if there are multiple of both, unfortunately. DomNH
Nice cell in south-central Cheshire County. Waiting for the 3rd time today when a severe cell heading towards here dissipates before reaching us. Hasn't even rained since this morning.

I thought all the reports were bogus at the time. My family was freaking out telling me to get off the highway.

Hoosier
trust me, im waiting for hoosier to bump troll me later... i get into trouble playing climo/history too heavily sometimes. no doubt the potential was there. Ha. Skepticism probably wins most of the time but it was tough to ignore the parameters especially as the day wore on.
