weatherMA
Im going to head south to worcester Really? With my horrendous radar reading skills I thought the best stuff would be N of ORH.
ORH_wxman
Im going to head south to worcester If you are going to view a storm coming into the northern part of Worcester, the top parking lot at Quinsigamond Community college is probably the best spot. Its high up with decent vis to the west. However it can't see over the top of Winter hill or Indian hill, but its still a very good spot to watch a storm. The other two hills have too many trees near the top for good visibility.
radarman
In a better spot now... Still no rotation that I can see. Tornado sirens going off on campus now

The CTG was pretty incredible out over the water with that first batch...not a fun day to be 30 miles offshore Nasty looking radar just NW of Springfield. met_fan
Kevin is trying for NOHO but I think he'll be too late. I'm about 3 miles south of Northampton and the sky is really dark in that direction, while it has spit out .05 of rain with a little breeze here. moneypitmike
Survived things here. They held the kids at school thankfully. Sly's brightening to the west, expect the sun to be out soon. Hopefully no one has any damage from these (although we were hoping our old out building would get taken out by a tree. We coudl use the insurance money to rebuild a nice garage/barn. monadnocks
Greenfield, NH here - there's rain and thunder that's pretty constant. Some of it's louder than others but no real *loud* cracks. monadnocks

weatherMA
I'm in a horrendous spot for viewing storms...surrounded by trees and in a valley area, but I can't think of an excuse for why I'd be leaving the house...storm chasing would not be a valid one... ORH_wxman
That is an impressive couplet in Hampshire county. If it holds together a little longer, ORH county should be under a warning soon.
moneypitmike
My son got home around 3:35... nice thunder while I was out waiting for him They held the kids at school here until things went through. Have to check out the area--I pretty sure I had a strike within 100 yards of the Pit. Not sure what to look for for evidence. I think it might have hit a pole and used the cables that tether them to the ground as a lightning rod. Not sure.
