radarman
The haze is now thick in the Valley. Blocking out the sun. Feels like LA or Beijing. Weather station reads 86.0/73.7. Gusty. Spent a lot of time out in the fields of SW Oklahoma, and today would fit right in. Very optimistic and in no rush. Winds are increasing with time. Looking pretty good is right.

moneypitmike
Getting dark just to the west. Almost constant thunder rolling off in the distance and closing. Nice. Just came in to post the exact same thing. Sky darkening, winds picking up. Thunder, thunder, thunder. I hope my chickens don't all blow away. HoarfrostHubb
Im heading west on storrow im going to intersect rt 2 and head west One possible good place to view storms as they come into N ORH is in Leominster at the plaza with Kohl's and Target up on the hill. Wide views and a Coldstone Creamery. Yum!

moneypitmike
Nothing like a warning that takes up the entire width of northern MA. Edit: my post looses something without the picture attaching.
Ed Lizard
Low level winds veered a bit more than optimal for tornadoes, but this is a decent looking severe weather forecast sounding for Worcester...
OSUmetstud
decent isallobaric component of the surface wind as greatest pressure falls are over northern ME/southern Quebec. Should keep the surface wind a bit more backed. BDL and HFD both had 180 degree sfc wind the past hour.
ChrisM
I might drive up to Holyoke, can be there in an hour or less. Thoughts? or should I stay closer to BDL?
New England Storm
Nothing like a warning that takes up the entire width of northern MA. I think that the cell near bennington,VT will be the first one that gets a tonrado warning, seems to have better low level rotation.
OSUmetstud
Low level winds veered a bit more than optimal for tornadoes, but this is a decent looking severe weather forecast sounding for Worcester... actual wind in Worcester is 190 degrees right now...so the model is underdoing the backed surface flow. Tropopause_Fold
cell moving into SW NH looks somewhat promising...but several have done this so far. edit: as does the cell pushing toward S VT
tornadotony
The supercells from Keene NH to Schenectady NY are all growing stronger mesos. I would suspect these are on some sort of boundary/vorticity enhancement zone and at least one of them will likely TOR sooner rather than later. wxeyeNH
Its soooo frustrating to watch a major potential only to get the shaft by shooting right between good storms to my north and south. Looks like I will get nothing out of this up here in Central NH.
