Hoosier Posted June 1, 2011 Share Posted June 1, 2011 it's a great setup for the EC but there is really no comparison to 1,000 miles west almost ever IMO I'm not saying there's going to be a massive tornado outbreak, but the forecast soundings look a lot like what you'd see farther west with remnant EML/strong instability, good shear etc. Overall I'd expect a good severe weather day especially by northeast standards. The few decent cells have gone north...and we went mostly cloudy shortly after 11 which may have hindered instability here a bit. Think we'll wind up with a few rumbles of thunder and a sprinkle.
