CT Rain
These shows start earlier and earlier. I know... people are getting up earlier and earlier. You'd be surprised how many people watch 430-500 lol.
weatherwiz
I'd go to bed... not going to talk about anything I haven't already posted lol lol. Well the 6z NAM is even looking a bit more impressive, especially with instability. Still some nice hodos.

I remember twenty years ago when WNBC decided to start at six A.M. and that was a big deal. Not long before that, morning programming was Captain Kangaroo. Most people are asleep by then. The next big change is by and large the elimination of the local sports report as Len Berman, Scott Clark, Warner Wolf, and Bill Mazer can attest to. CT Rain
Real nasty storms firing in the Dacks. Looks like SNE gets clipped by the tail end starting to form north of BGM.

CT Rain
Hmmm...is that stuff going to come through mid to late morning? Moving pretty fast... looks like into W MA/CT 12z-13z. Should be ample time to destabilize after in E NY/W CT & MA I think it will start to weaken a bit though.
Damage In Tolland
That line in ENY should miss CT thankfully

We don't want that line this morning. It can't do anything but harm for later.

I see it in Salisbury by like 1230z. More than enough time to destabilize.

Hopefully they are wrong, but it appears to be tied to WAA.

Yeah the HRRR does as well. Unfortunately. That may be why the threat winds up further west... E NY/W SNE where things can destabilze.
Damage In Tolland
I still think that stays mostly north of the CT border..maybe clipping NW CT..Keep it up there
CT Rain
I still think that stays mostly north of the CT border..maybe clipping NW CT..Keep it up there It's early in the day so I'm not too worried about it. It's also not some huge remnant MCS that's producing a wide swath of clouds and rain for hundreds of miles.
moneypitmike
Trying to extrapolate the progress of that line. If it holds together, it could be in western Mass a little after 9:00 it looks like. Up to 60.7/59.

CT Rain
Yeah true. Just a line so far, but hopefully we don't see stuff blossom everywhere. We'll see. sat loop is somewhat promising that this is it. HRRR goes nuts with development over SNE later this morning so who knows. I'm willing to bet it's this line and then we are quiet for a period of time. Some of the models are pretty dam impressive with those. SREFs seem impressive still. As usual, probably a nowcast thing.
