I tell ya, the 15z RUC has 0-1km EHI of up to 7 across SNE by 21z. Even shaving off a bit for the RUC's unstable bias, that is damn impressive.

It's like these areas were transplanted 1000 miles west for the day.

That whole area is a magnet for severe weather... Saratoga County, Washington County, Bennington County. For whatever reason they always get lit up.

it's a great setup for the EC but there is really no comparison to 1,000 miles west almost ever IMO
