The broken line of storms just missed me to the S and SW :( This part of the county is parched and could use some rain. We have only seen .5" for 3 weeks and counting. Hopefully some more t-storms can fire up just to the north of me. I'm sitting at 90°F with a dew point of 68.

More or less the same thing happened to me. The heaviest area went to our south and there was a decent storm rolling our way but it totally fell apart.

I had .22 26 days ago, and since then just a trace. So frustrating.

The local news last night said we hit 96. As i was mowing the lawn, the sky to the north east was really black, but it appeared it was going to stay that direction, but when i looked at the flag at the firehouse, it was blowing towards the south West. by 615 or so, we had high winds (not sure exact, but it completely flipped my large patio furniture over and moved it 6 feet) and then We had heavy downpour for like 10-15 minutes, the kind where your spouts can't keep up. Funny thing was, it was still hot and humid, within a short period, the patio, and driveway was dry like it hadn't rained

I'd kill for a 10-15 minute downpour.

I watched that storm head to my brother's in Saginaw, near Mount Wolf, but it died before getting there.

Wouldn't be surprised if CTP throws a head advisory out for Harrisburg/Lancaster/York around midday. I'm going to enjoy watching the heat products go out across the Mid Atlantic.

I am curious to see if we get one up here for Thursday, a truly rare event.

Not too impressed with it getting hot today here, too many clouds and we may hold onto them until noon. Really muggy though.

i think right now, this has been our savior. Other then these little events, we haven't had anything else.

We have consistently missed them. I had to water my side gardens last night, just used our tap water as opposed to getting the pump set up in the creek.

Damn, is both our town water and creek water freaking cold.

Lucky, that is good for maintaining a trout season. Here in Lancaster the steams have warmed considerably and have capped any good fishing until September. But this time of year a person can switch to quarry fishing during the evening and still fair well.

86 with 92 heat index now, very warm. That's at my house, i'm in Ocean city and it's very hot here too. Clouds clearing could be mid 90's today with heat index 100+

Sure rub it in........i love OC. i may moove there someday.

Jamie, the Susq. River water is very warm. My friend told me yesterday he was out fishing over the weekend. He said he was hot so jumped in, he said it was like bath water.

I didn't get a drop of rain at my house. And you know how close we live.
