canderson
So today was my birthday and my wife was concerned about the weather for a surprise. Turns out the surprise is she bought me flying lessons at Lancaster airport! Rain held off so I flew for 45 minutes from Lancaster down past Columbia back east of downtown Lancaster. I got to take off and everything! I love my wife. LOL

I dont want to be sitting out in a thunderstorm with my family. It should be a pretty cloudy day with showers and a few periods of rain, especially during the first half of the day. It should get better later in the afternoon. I doubt there will be many thunderstorms -- the atmosphere should be fairly stable with the clouds and showers. PennMan
0.49" of rain today from a potent little storm around 6:45-7PM. Some slight tree damage in the neighborhood along with damaged plants in our garden. Didn't make it to 90°, 88.5° was the high.
PottercountyWXobserver
All the heavy rain reports have missed my area for sure, we only picked up .52" during the friday-monday time frame while most areas saw up to 2" of rain. Man did areas around Harrisburg get pounded! The batch of rain coming out of the Ohio Valley looks decent, so hopefully it will be a good soaking rain. I'm liking this trough getting ready to settle in. Hopefully temps will remain in the low to mid 70s, I will be extremely happy, although I would prefer 60s! PennMan
Some more rain headed this way. I'm glad we're headed into a few days of dry and sunny conditions after this rain...garden will love it and it will keep things from getting too damp which often causes trouble for our tomatoes.
