Euro with a couple runs now of some heat being pumped up after fathers day... doesn't look to be anything that sticks around too long... but what do my model interpretation skills or the euro know that far out..but at least its a start of a trend showing up for those that want some days of swamp arse.

Sure is nice to see the sun and temps in the lower 60's today is A+ stuff as long as you don't have a pool or lake party planned.

Was 57 here at noon. Now sitting at 59 as of the 1pm obs. :sun: They are calling for a high of 70 and not so sure that will be reached. Guess we will see. Either way it is great out.

It is great out...66º at 1PM here. I don't mind a little heat every now and then, but these are the days I love. Just got back from a nice walk in the neighborhood and didn't sweat one drop.

What Detroit had is probably equivalent to something like 102 in St. Louis. Not the worst heatwave ever but still notable.

Always has to come down to my city vs your city and who's weather is more extreme. St louis can keep their 100 degrees and high humidity and I'll take more days like today ,but with more sun.

I'm starting to wonder if we'll crack 70º today. I believe we will, but the temp is just inching up one degree every hour, now up to 67º at 2PM.

My Davis is reading 71, you should make it. A great day. I went to a pond and caught a 22 1/2", 6 lb. 9 oz. bass. The largest bass I've ever caught.

well i wont complain about this weather at all. Makes working outdoors much more enjoyable. The city vs city discussion is interesting. people from different regions across N.America always laughs at the others with regards to temp and precip. St.Louis can say Toronto has never experienced real warmth. but then Toronto can say St.Louis has never experienced a real winter. hahah my city has the worst reputation in Canada for calling in the army during the parade of winter storms in 99. we will never live that down

This..

Screw that 90+ and high humidity crap. As said before there are reasons i moved up here from the Mid Atlantic and yeah the heat is one of them. So yeah St. Louis etc to the south of here can all keep it. Only time i wanna see it is if i am at the beach and or swimming.

Perfect day here as well. In the lower 70s with sunshine and low humidity. Started out pretty chilly at 51.

A perfect summer day is mid 70s with a 15-20 MPH breeze and dew points in the 40s or lower. I guess there is a reason I love fall so very much--also because it means a return to baroclinic instability dominated weather.
