FoothillsNC
this line reminds me of a few already that passed through the Apps , even though this time its a little different with the cooler, drier air on the east side of the mtns. So not sure what to expect, but so far its organizing, and the momentum off the mountains usually pretty strong, or has been about every time this has happened. WE'll see soon. FoothillsNC
The line coming off the mountains heading for spartanburg area is really bowing out. those mountains have dropped some serious bow segments this season. As Phil pointed out, its looking extremely severe already there. What a time to be missing GSP nexrad.

FoothillsNC
I'm hearing thunder now...atleast 30 miles from the storms. The northern edge appears to be blossoming northward as it comes off the mountains, and also bowing north to south to cover much of the Upstate of SC. Watch out Spartanburg and Gaffney to Union in a little bit.
