ski MRG
69/64, A warm day but not bad, a high of 80 @ 2k and 81 here at the house. Beautiful evening with the forest cooling off nicely tonight. Glad MoneypitMike doesn't bother with AC either. One of the many perks living in the high terrain of W Ma. Have a safe and happy week end all. Think Snow! CoastalWx
Not too often we go over to a seabreeze and then come back that late in the afternoon... if we go over we usually stay.. It's the 5-6pm bounce. That happens at least several times during the summer. That's usually when I cook around here. There's some crazy differences in temps from my area to Southie when the seabreeze is relatively weak. Today was one of them. I seabreezed for about 90 minutes before going ssw again.
HarveyLeonardFan
its my wife (julie) Hard to believe its so hot everywhere and its only 74 under full sun with a delightful breeze off the sound. I could never live away from the water. You guys had full sun along the water? The past two days here in Newport the beaches have been fogged in, and temps were much cooler than on parts of the Cape. weathafella
Not too often we go over to a seabreeze and then come back that late in the afternoon... if we go over we usually stay.. Very wrong. It's actually quite common. I would say it happens at least a dozen times or more every summer. Go over the dailies in the past 3 years and I'll be you'll find many examples. Here's the trick. Look at your wxbugs and if everything BUT BOS or the immediate shore roads is hot, count on a 5pm jump of 10F.

dendrite
Backdoor made it to BOS now. NAM has a decent handle on it. Should be a nice seabreeze hopefully today. The NAM was way too aggressive/cold for midday. It had me with 50s for a high about 24hrs ago and my low may end up not getting out of the 60s. I suppose we'll see this afternoon if it wins out.At least it will be a temporary reprieve from the really hot stuff. 00z MAV had 93F for ASH on Memorial Day. Yeah I think it's a little aggressive with the cold (although cstl NH and ne mass may be chilly today) but I just mean it has it featured pretty well right now. They always find a way to sneak down that's for sure. Ray loves them in more ways than one.
