* AT 641 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING

A CONFIRMED TORNADO 7 MILES NORTH OF MOUNT VERNON. STORM SPOTTER

SIGHTED A TORNADO NEAR THE TOWN OF DIX CROSSING INTERSTATE 57.

DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THIS TORNADO MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50

NWS Lincoln needs to issue a warning for Clay county on this.... Evansville doppler showing a couplet on it coming into clay county..

Well, I think we can safely discount this being a historic outbreak.

The question about the sirens was just in regards to one of the tv feeds... could not tell on the audio for sure if they were sirens or not Not trying to stir things up

Ah nevermind then, sorry about that. Misunderstood. Whenever WMC is live and under a TW the sirens are very noticeable from in the studios.

COUNTY. MULTIPLE HOMES DESTROYED. HUNDREDS OF ACRES OF

DOWNED AND SNAPPED TREES COUNTYWIND BLOCKING MULTIPLE

ROADWAYS. NO KNOWN INJURIES AT THIS TIME
