Swiscaster
enjoying snow the hard way...vicariously http://www.highcountrywebcams.com/webcameras_highland.htm You could also turn on the Division I college football championship on TV (MASN) to watch the snow. Game is being played in Boone, NC, and there appears to be at least an inch or two on the ground and snowing at a decent clip!
derecho
I think we can get a period of light snow/flurries later this evening around dc and northern va. The radar is showing ESE movement, and the ruc is showing precip getting farther north each run. Not expecting anything over a dusting though. clskinsfan
Charleston WV. Currently 1/8 mile visibilities. time sensitive. http://www.wchstv.com/newsroom/wx/tcamlive.shtml Should be good skiing at Snowshoe tonight.
clskinsfan
I think i might see some snow here this evening. Already snowing in Parkersburg WV. Due west of me.
aldie 22
I'm actually encouraged by the Northern extent and ESE movement. GFS says we get a little fluff...not much but some.
Dr No
Concur and believe that Northern VA up to DC will get into the snow... Forecast LP position along the VA/NC line is usually a very good spot for here. A dusting is about what I expect too.

WinterWxLuvr
Seems that the vortex over the NE is kind of pivoting up and around and allowing this thing to turn a little. The radar trends are encouraging, but this is all probably just wishcasting on my part.

SnowmanChief
Some pretty impressive looking bands setting up between Beckley and just north of Charleston. As long as they don't dissipate over the mountains this could be encouraging for central VA.

WinterWxLuvr
We'll be lucky to get flurries around DC I think you'll see some snow falling, probably not much, but at least some. I think I am just a smidge too far north.

It looks like the southward progression of the low is stopping. I also think DC will see some flurries and maybe a light snow shower.

Ian
Air is pretty dry so it's going to be hard to saturate. I'll prob still hope for a flake.
Dr No
Nice slate gray sky out to the west... I can see the virga getting closer. DP is in the low 20's so it shouldn't take long to overcome... The one problem is the NW wind.
