Ian
check out how the left splitter gets sucked into that huge cell north the one it split off should turn more SE into OKC later if it survives yeah thats kinda cool.. the small one briefly had a tvs and was sort of rotating counterclockwise to the north of the bigger cell for a bit--tho I guess that could have just been an illusion. the big one is getting a bit elongated.. might be having issues or just cycling. OHweather
Briefly went into a basement because I was in Twinsburg near the hook. Saw very strong strait line winds, probably 60-70MPH and nickle sized hail. No tornado at my location.
Powerball
The coolest part today was seeing 20+commercial planes fly right over us (landscaping work today) and around the severe storms which have been to the south and the edge of the cloud deck has been over us all day. There was in fact a ground stoppage at Metro Airport when the storms came through.

IWXwx
There was also a tornado reported by police crossing state road 9 4 miles north of Mt. Etna in Huntington County. That was actually reported by me! It crossed the road about 200 yards in front of me. Fortunately, it was in a sparsely populated area. Here is a sample of the tree damage: I had just gotten home from work and decided to intercept the rotation I noticed on radar, since it was about 15 miles west of me. I had to drive south through rain/hail core and just as I exited it, I saw the wall cloud. It quickly developed a funnel, then touched down just before crossing SR 9, carrying tree limbs across the road with it. It topped several trees and did some very minor damage to a home before lifting. I followed it for about 10 miles, and while it continued to violently rotate, it never dropped another tornado. Quite an exciting day.
Indystorm
Nice catch IWXwx...Looks like as I read LSR's northern Huntington county got hit again with some heavy rain. You've really been busy down there lately!
SluggerWx
I feel like your intercept will be a great case study. You confirmed a tornado, and it will be great to compare what the radar was showing when you interepted it. I believe far more of these EF1/EF0 TORs occur than are reported and end up being 'wind' damage reports...especially at night when a visual would be hard to confirm. using Tapatalk
