THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...

TARRANT COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS...

* UNTIL 930 PM CDT

* AT 843 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A

DEVELOPING TORNADO 4 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BENBROOK...MOVING EAST

AT 50 MPH. THERE ARE TWO POSSIBLY TORNADIC THUNDERSTORMS IN

TARRANT COUNTY...ONE JUST WEST OF BENBROOK AND ONE JUST SOUTHEAST OF

DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH. THESE ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS STORMS...IF YOU

ARE IN THEIR PATH...TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY!

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...

EDGECLIFF...WESTOVER HILLS...WESTWORTH AND RIVER OAKS AROUND 850 PM

CDT...

FORT WORTH...FOREST HILL...EVERMAN AND RENDON AROUND 855 PM CDT...

RICHLAND HILLS AND KENNEDALE AROUND 900 PM CDT...

to painful for me, switched to CBS, but not much better...no cable or dish, so no TWC for me.

IMHO, CBS is doing much better than NBC, at least they sound more knowledgeable and are telling people where things are and relaying reports. This is one of the larger cells I have seen in quite sometime producing that much hail! Impressive cell!

I used to live in Richardson. I'd be totally freaking out over the hail right now.

yeah hail is no fun. 95 was my first yr in tx.. i vividly remember being scared may 5. it mostly missed..
