iowahawkeyedave
Wow, really!? a meteorologist on TV is claiming an EF4 on live TV by looking at video? My thoughts exactly. Certainly makes them lose credibility. But if it gets the viewers to their basements quicker, then that's a good thing. Storms SW of Chickasha certainly gaining rotation quickly. The LLJ only going to get stronger from here on out this evening?
windyinnc
For the life of me I cannot get this feed to work on any of my browers. I tried everything. Wow. Things are going nuts! For those on mobile devices, NW OKC Metro

Mallow
On the radar loop they just showed on KOCO, you could clearly see features on the outer edges of the debris ball rotating around it from frame to frame.
k***
It was a chaser who was saying it was an EF4...given that this person has interacted with the damage across its path, I don't think it's that unreasonable to make a snap judgement...it's not any different than what we'll do later with the photos. If it helps reinforce how dangerous the situation is then I think it's a good idea.
weatherMA
For the life of me I cannot get this feed to work on any of my browers. I tried everything. Wow. Things are going nuts! Hoosier
My thoughts exactly. Certainly makes them lose credibility. Storms SW of Chickasha certainly gaining rotation quickly. The LLJ only going to get stronger from here on out this evening? The numbers make me cringe a bit but since it's well-monitored and heading toward populated areas, you might as well use strong wording. The debris ball is ominous and the potential is clear today. SnowGoose69
Right now the Chickasha storm likely goes into Moore/OKC with the Marlow storm getting close to Norman but as if often the case for some reason storms along I-44 don't right turn while the others do so Norman may get squeezed.
