I secretly am dying to hit 100

I'd call you a kook but how can I judge when I hope for severe weather and tornadoes to hit my backyard (alright maybe the neighbor's backyard where I get front row seats), knowing they can cause damage? :devilsmiley:

Good luck because today and tomorrow are good candidates for sure! Even today, we still got another couple hours.

The only way it isn't is because of convective blow-off.

Agreed. If we don't get that, I think we'll be warmer tomorrow. Stronger low-level flow should dry out to dewpoints tomorrow afternoon more. The sea-breeze impact on the South Shore of LI should also be less.

That is a good possibility.. Seems like most areas around here are ranging from 95-99..

I think 850s are also a little warmer farther west. You're closer to the bubble of 21C on the 12z GFS at 6 hours:

But there must be a localized downsloping factor....temps there are 95-99F while further to your south, I'm "only" at 91.8F.

What is your dewpoint?
