Now the next few days will feature typical spring weather (for real this time :gun_bandana: ), and even the so-called dirty jerzy furnace will struggle to hit 80 through early weekend, with lows in the comfortable 50-55 degree range.

The 00z NAM has alot areas outside the city dropping in the 40's tomorrow night and Friday night as well and I won't be surprise if a few spots see a few upper 30's in coldest spots like Pines on LI and Highest Elevation NW of the city. The city will dropped probably near 50-55 F both nights and 45-50 F in good part of LI.

the flashes of lightning are every 15 seconds or so. pretty awesome considering how far away the storms are.

Funny I was getting the samething also but not as constant and still occasional I see little bit of lightning.

I can't get over it...the storms are off the coast of Sourhern and Central NJ and it's visible here in the sky every half minute or so.

Beautiful outside right now. Going for a summer-style midnight walk.

Dewpoint dropped 23 degrees in two hours at TTN... was 68 at 11PM, now 45.

The difference in how it feels out is insane, even though the temp here has dropped just a little (from about 87-88 earlier this evening to 81).

For the next few day we will be having dewpoint in the 30's and low 40's with high temps in the 70's. But with the very low dewpoints temps will drop quick in outlining areas and I won't be surprise in the highest elevation well NW of the city and coldest spot LI could see few upper 30's for tomorrow night and could see some isolated frost in those spots.

I've noticed that some of our biggest heat waves come after anomalous cold airmasses like this pass offshore and the high becomes a big heat pump. We'll see what transpires about a week from now.

Then we will see better chances for thunderstorms and maybe not another severe weather bust like this except we could do without the tornadoes.
