dutch
I happened to come across notification of the class 2 weeks ago and signed up, then they had to move the venue from Channel3 studio to ESM school! 150+ people attended, It could be the largest Skywarn class ever, Nationally! It was a short class, and they kept it on time too, even with the size. Gave basics of T-storm development, and of course reporting procedures. I wouldn't mind taking an advanced version, if I happen to see one scheduled.

Hope there's a good turnout

CNYWeather
good luck with that! I hear Oriskany is having a terrible flash flood today.. I have relatives who live on Oriskany Creek and they have taken to higher ground Very good turnout. Yes, there were some roads closed in Oriskany also. Think a lot of the smaller creeks and streams were more of an issue than the Oriskany Creek. The southern end of the creek was fine when I passed it but other areas got dumped on. I had .43" and KRME got 3.18". We're maybe 4 miles as the crow flies apart.
