weatherwiz
Chase Not today, my friend will be coming down from NH next Thursday or Friday until June 10th and inbetween that timeframe we will be doing some chasing. Luckily the pattern may actually get much more favorable around then.

GFS has lots of low level moisture on a few of those days..starting Sunday. I could see some areas near the coast struggling to clear. Or, I should say it wouldn't shock me. Not sure if it will happen.

weatherwiz
Well looking like at least parts of Litchfield and Fairfield Counties will see a decent amount of breaks so perhaps the severe threat will shift into extreme western CT, however, for the rest of the state if there isn't any evidence of more substantial cloud breaks by 1:00 PM the severe threat at least will be cooked. Could maybe see a few elevated cells.

Tropopause_Fold
well that 3 hour stretch of sun was probably the nicest weather i've had all spring. sunny and low 70s. clouds moving back in now. earlier NAM had a fair amount of elevated cape for this afternoon...might have been on track as looks like some storms firing south of RI/SE MA now.
