What's interesting in the above picture is that you can also see the lowered rain free base in front and to the right of the tornado in the pic. What's interesting in the above picture is that you can also see the lowered rain free base in front and to the right of the tornado in the pic. That's probably what went on to produce the huge tornado shortly after the Greensburg tornado occluded. If you in the background above the truck, you can see a microburst contained within the parent thunderstorm's rear flank downdraft.
