SEMIweather Posted May 11, 2011 Share Posted May 11, 2011 Much better storm the 2nd time around. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, including one strike that by my guess was about half a mile away. Estimated 40mph wind gusts. Torrential downpours that lasted for over 25 minutes, which has caused major flooding all over campus (this is usual, the drainage system here is awful). It's as though they're parting the Red Sea (the middle area being Milwaukee County. Got missed by a hair to the NW. And now storms just fired up to my East ... Still got some nice lightning out of it though.
