I skiied Killington in May before... broke a set of skis that way... not fun.

Raining pretty good here at work. Knocking down the swamp-azz at least and watering the grass. Pollen is starting to show up, too,

I'm just kidding around with Powderfreak...et al. I'd be pumped for a late season snow as well. However down here it probably means clouds, 50F, and sct shwrs. Pretty lousy weather.

I sorta don't mind the weather of the last 5 or so days. Altenating between sun, clouds, showers. Good for the grass, etc, allows for some spring prancing, frisbee, etc.

Nice that we got through April without a monster torch like the previous 2 years. Hopefully May can continue. Low energy usage, pleasant.

Much more comfortable here now, vs this morning. My building smelled pretty bad after the kids had gym.

WTF?? Didn't you wipe and towel off ?

70F with low humidity is perfect. This morning was muggy and I could feel it in the house. Of course with you being a teacher...you probably want it to be 50F every day. I can see why..lol.

Haha, I know dude... it is time to let it go, but honestly, its still the most interesting thing to talk about (at least up here). I mean right now it is a 44-degree steady drizzle outside with low clouds and fog. It does not get much worse than that as far as cut-your-throat weather, lol.

I can take comfort in the fact that at least temperatures are cooling aloft on the mountain and we are getting closer to snow, haha.

800ft... 44F

probably wouldn't happen here. would be more out your way if it materializes at all.

One of those days that starts out sunny and temps torch up into the 60''s..then cu pops with scattered small hailers and Wiz makes an extensive thread about it the night before around 2:00am after drinking several Colt 45 ...40 oz'ers

I agree with Sam, in fact there are some signals the beginning of next week, even as early as this weekend perhaps, that we will once again gear into an active severe wx pattern for much of the central and perhaps eastern states. Some signals of a very deep trough developing in this period and then shifting eastward, since we will be in mid-May it's certainly possible to get some decent severe wx events across NY/PA and into extreme western New England.

I'd be waiting for snow there if I was you. Even some mangled flakes are far more interesting than any other type of weather we get at this time of year. Spring and early fall are by far the two least interesting weather months in New England. We can sometimes get a rogue severe event in early summer...and a rogue 'cane in late summer. There is almost nothing meteorologically interesting about latter spring and early autumn.

April 17-18 2002 is basically pinnacle , any major Spring snowstorms aside. That sucks
