ski MRG
Pretty sad when all we have is watching temps cool from 64 to 54. I miss this. Ugh. Why torture us with that? I can't wait until the fun of Winter storm watching returns. Staying up late for models. Suffering through endless deconstructionist CWEAT posts. All the good stuff. Hopefully we can get a forecast like this next winter... add up those snow totals. 168" is the high end of the range for these days.
dendrite
GFS MOS yesterday had 70F for ORH tomorrow, lol. 12z today had 60F...18z just came in at 53F. GFS fail.

Logan11
It was like 55, but felt a tad muggy here earlier with fog, mist, etc. Then I went over to Latham in the HV and it was a real cool wind - felt like early November. Got back here (after traversing a band of torrential rain) and it's now down to 49 here with the fog and mist. Ugh. Why torture us with that? HoarfrostHubb
This is awesome weather! 1.2" new. 59F for a high. Now 53.3F. Breezy! Made grocery shopping interesting. No thunder
Logan11
I allowed myself to imagine it was late October when that cool breeze swept across earlier....at the cusp of the best time of the year. I don't mind the temperature...it's invigorating. But I could do without the rain obviously. This is awesome weather! 1.2" new. 59F for a high. Now 53.3F. Breezy! Made grocery shopping interesting. nzucker
61/57 swamp~ass s wind Awful here, 62/62, heavy humidity. 0.76" rainfall on the day, with .55" recorded at HPN, the official site for Westchester. Thinking of moving the container gardens into the garage, they are heavy but it may be worth sparing the plants inches of rain.

nzucker
high and dry for the night with warm south winds, kevin for the win As per my original thought, Maine and Upstate NY are getting clocked with +RA while we see occasional pop-up thunderstorms. HPC still might verify though with the heavy rains Tuesday/Wednesday as the ULL tries to move northeast in the blocked up flow.
dendrite
Getting a lot of showers refiring just north of the southerly drifting front. The 00z NAM coming out looks a little too dry to me...I think the 12z hires models look more reasonable.
dendrite
high and dry for the night with warm south winds, kevin for the win The front wasn't even supposed to reach Kevin until shortly after midnight.

weatherwiz
I'm wondering if I'm going to have baseball this afternoon, we have a home game and our field absolutely sucks at draining, especially in the infield around 1st and 3rd bases, Then tomorrow I have to work a track & field event at 5:00 PM.
