Another classic

Wall to wall sunshine with temps reaching 70 again, best stretch of weather I can remember and another 3 coming. I understand that eastern ne has not had a good day but that was expected, here out west its just heaven. Allergies are horrible, we could use the rain to wash the pollen out of the air, and we are getting damn dry. My daughter who has never had allergies has been suffering, they pulled her out of school today, went to the Dr. the put her on a nebulizer and gave her steroids, many people are suffering greatly.

7th day in a row below 70F. I wonder how long I can go...might be able to run the table a whole week longer.

Funny thing is we don't have evidence going into this summer, that it will become an all out torch, so he could be doing this act all for nothing. He's feeling a bit of confidence because he got into good banding this winter, but he could be back to CTAdvisorysnow, come next winter.

Agree, Joe, just another classic here in the tropics....high of 73.9F in Dobbs Ferry, NY. sun.gif

This has been some stretch of spring weather with dews in the 40s and nighttime lows in the 45-50F range, just perfection. Beautiful scene outside with the lilacs and dogwoods at peak bloom and all the trees leafed out...we do need some showers, however, as the allergies and dry soil are a bit problematic.

What's the emotocon for face smack?

that 12z Euro is about the only way physically possible to keep in frigid in Boston with a 588dm heights. Thankfully, it's the D10, so we know it won't stand another round or two. Otherwise, gross!

He uses ORH because it "fits his climate best"

He could use C2621 which is in Tolland but 150' lower than him at 850' or AN119 which is north of him and less than 100' lower at 900'. Their reported at 784', but it's actually a little over 900'. I like the AirNow station because their use ASUS quality equipment that is quality checked. They are both within a couple of miles.

I don't think this is going to be a hot summer.

I think it will be a humid summer with lots of warm sector days...but not a hot one overall.

Neither the 12z nor the 18z GFS OP seems to be buying it, however.

The setup is there on the 18z GFS. Of course most of this could be squashed south, but it has an interesting look....a closed ULL to our southwest with most srly flow riding up the coast.

For the record the high here today was 63.2..which falls right into the normal rule of thumb where BDL is generally 6-8 degrees warmer for a daytime high on a sunny day

To be fair you had more cloudiness and more marine taint compared to BDL.

BOX has been too cool on their forecasted high temps inland all week. You'll probably hit at least 70 Thursday or Friday

I can't agree with this enough. Worst allergies in decades.

And decades.

Gallons of mucous.

Puffy itchy rhiny hell

Hack and gag. Spring stinks.

Pollen- alien looking. The opposite of snow.

I hate plants. They aren't worth it.

Seriously the black flies are the worst I can remember

Yeah, I was out watering the gardens tonight and it was full hoodie mode to keep sane.

I've taken a record number of ticks off me and the dog this year. She's protected, I'm not. Had one lodged in my chest last week. Wasn't there long but I still dropped 1000mg of Amoxicillin 2 days in a row to be safe. I'll take black flies over ticks because there gone in a few weeks and they can't kill you.
