It's still an ongoing and potentially significant event upcoming so of course any update that comes out is going to be posted. It's not like people are clogging up the forum, there isn't exactly much else going on this time of year.

Discuss all you want, just no need for me to chime in about the obvious. Im also so upset someone on an online forum doesn't like me lmfao

This is going to be an event where most of us will have the most intense rainfall rates of this year to date if they have not already had so.I drove through torrental downpours earlier this morning over the Triborough Bridge and Major Deegan Expressway.

I like this pattern. As long as we stay on the unstable E side of the u/a trof, we could see tsra (isolated svr). Don't see this in summer much (stalled upper trof). But I could go withouth the 60s dews. But they fuel the tsra so you take the good with the bad. I had 2 storms today here in W NJ. Warned on both. The first was far superior to the 2nd. Some small hail cores too. Good stuff.

June 1996 was epic for storms... closed low for weeks it seemed, thunderstorms almost every day.

Yeah one of those high humidity high min low high temp sucky summers lol. We get those every few years. Speaking of which, wasn't it a few years back that NJ got enough hail to shovel-- to the tune of almost a foot of hail? Schools were closed lol.

Yea I had heavy rains over night so I figured JFK would have gotten something similar as well. The rain on that map goes right over me in between the two bridges.

Hey it was partly sunny here-- Im not complaining lol. I hate dull and dreary weather.

Yea, it doesn't happen often, but when it does, it rocks. I remember that summer. I finished HS that year.

I like when we get a stalled frontal boundary over the region. The tsra's develop seemingly the same time every day. It is like clockwork. lol.
