You won't love it a month from now when you're sweating bullets at 75F during the night and we're 60-65F and comfortable.

More like 80+ past midnight. Despite the more suburban feel of my part of Queens I can't compete with places maybe 15 miles east of me. I wished I cooled down like they do in the summertime.

Only thing I don't like about cooling down so much is its not as enjoyable for night swimming. Those 75-80 degree temps well past midnight are ideal for late night swims.

Dont worry, we make up for it in that our temps rise much more rapidly than yours through the morning hours.

This is a matter of preference, but for the past several days, Westchester sucks and Passaic county has been beautiful. Here in White Plains, even at 70 it never quite feels "warm," and it has been cloudy more often than not. Meanwhile, returning home in the evening is beautiful... actually almost summer-like.

I feel like l live in Florida and work in England.

Another fabulous day shaping up today. Hoping tomorrow we can squeeze out yet another before some cloudy and then rainy days arrive Sat - Wed.

the 00z euro gives the entire area 2-4", with the heaviest tuesday night

The GFS looks like its quite a bit less than that. The 60hr totals never get above 2". Hard to tell what the total QPF is though looking at those charts when you have an extended period of unsettled weather.

Of course I've been stuck inside working all week and now that I have a BBQ planned for saturday and Rutgers graduation on Sunday its going to be miserable :axe:

The GFS tends to underdo convective rainfall lately.

amazing how consistant temps have been so far this month. Have we ever failed to reach 80 for the month of May before?? This will be very interesting.. with this blocky pattern and now headed into a cloudier and cooler regime, it'll be interesting when we hit 80 for a high again.

I don't have an airconditioner for my apartment yet...so I'm pretty happy with the way things stand.

It's been a pretty great stretch of perfect spring weather. To be dry for this many days in a row in May is pretty rare. I do want some rain though so things won't start drying out yet and also to get rid of some of this pollen

Unprecedented day 7 of nicest weather imaginable.

71 in da park.
