We might be able to see something here in the city itself. The marine layer seems to have pretty much burned off.

The storms are looking pretty disorganized compared to just 30 mins ago. Looks like we'll just be seeing a few boomers and downpours.

The cell in southeast NY approaching the CT border seems to be losing some of its' punch, but well see what it brings here in the next half hour or so.

Would have sustained itself if only the surface instability was there. Maybe if the sun breaks out behind the line it would happen with the second batch.

raining so hard, wind is blowing so strong, and sky is so dark I can not see out of my office window. You can say I exaggerate all you want, the radar supports my report.

Edit: Its gotten just a tad brigher over past 30 seconds. Looks like this may have been the last big cell of the day for me.

Hey, don't minimize noreaster's storm... he's getting crazy wind and lightning and sideways wind...

LOL.

These storms are nothing. No severe at all. We all know it, except for one of us.

Lets see if that cell near Philly does anything later on.
