WOW, very nice coupling on that cell now. Rotation looks to be transitioning to the cell just behind that initial one, and its improving.

Tornado warning on it.

Surreal day, and past couple days in Nassau County. Waves of fog blowing around like sheets of snow...and it is very windy out there.

Also, i dont see why people want severe weather, unlike blizzards, which rarely kill people, severe weather KILLS and DESTROYS..i for one am glad i live on long island which is protected by our best friend, the atlantic ocean, from severe weather.

Until there is an atlantic basin earthquake and the entire south shore is history

That nasty cell that was in VA is about to cross the Chesapeake Bay into the Delmarva. Let's see how well it holds together.

70 F now in midtown. Up up up. Very tropical feel out there.

Side note: if it is like this in late APRIL, we are in for one hell of a tropical-like summer.

co-worker lives in bloomsbury. called home to his wife to let her know of the tornado warning. she reports torrential downpour with small hail and gusty winds. no sign of rotation though.

I wonder what the conditions are out by dark energy....looks to be hit again with another tornado warn cell.
