AT 801 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A

CONFIRMED TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED 5 MILES NORTHEAST OF

GRAVEL HILL...OR 12 MILES NORTHWEST OF SEARCY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT

40 MPH.

AT 802 PM...TRAINED SPOTTERS REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE GROUND NEAR

JOY MOUNTAIN.

bow echo head forming and may move into memphis later , stronger tornadoes with this feature apears likley as well as weaker spin ups along the line

a backhook may be forming in the head at this time

It has formed. There is a "comma head" of the derecho that is rotating with reports of a tornado on the ground near McRae, AR.
