Riptide
What the heck is going on down there along the coast near ACY? Anyone notice the cooling cloud tops on IR? I was wondering, a piece of it went over my house with a brief snow shower. The warm waters might be interacting with the upper-level feature. Not really, the dew points are very dry. It will be interesting to see if the heavier stuff moves onshore.

I remember those trolley cars growing up. December 1960 ... didn't it snow the day before the NFL championship game? I was born in 1966, but I think I remember hearing they had to clear Franklin Field to play the game.
Thunder Road
Wait guys...the CRAS is the funniest thing I've seen in a while... http://cimss.ssec.wi...pcp_m_loop.html the CRAS was the first to pick up on the retro snows of 2/25/10. But it seems like it just retrogrades every storm 500 miles too far south. maybe it picked up some verification points b/c of that storm and now it over-retrogrades?
