tombo82685
Sitting at 22 right now up to 2 from 20. I wonder if the clouds associated with the clipper to our west is going to cap our lows from what they really could of been under clear skies....anyways, on the 0z euro tonight after the storm its just dry and cold with some flurries and snow showers around. A couple of disturbances slide off the mid atl coast but dont bring precip up any further north than southern va. Still a solid west based -nao throughout the whole run, pacific still has the goa low at hr 240.

NaoPos
Thundersnow in Broomall. haha sorry, i couldn't resist. Question for the mets, experienced staff.. How were the models able to under forecast the "strength" of this system? ANd what effects will this have upstream as the new storm takes place? I would think minimal, due to it's lack of intensity?
