electronicmaji
Flash Flood Warning? This should be a straigh up flood warning. Most backroads in northwest arkansas are covered in one place if not two, and a major highway has been shut down do to flooding. I'd like to see a animation of storm development over the past few days around the east oklahome/west arkansas area. It would speak volumes I think to the generative trend of this storm. I swear everytime I look at a radar scan of it, it looks exactly like it did an hour or so ago....

Wx 24/7
Not that this adds much to the discussion here, but I don't recall it ever raining non-stop for multiple days without a break. We haven't seen more than a 5 minutes break in the rain since late Saturday. http://maps.modot.mo.gov/timi/ <--- This map showing road closures is quite incredible. JoshMO
Unfortunately it looks like a day full of rain with a long line of storms with incredible rainfall rates all the way back to Wichita Falls. I bet someone in south-central Missouri to the Cape Girardeau area gets 7 additional inches just through tomorrow morning! Not a good situation. dan11295
TOR warned cell for Poplar Bluff, even worse that the TOR warning itself IMHO is the very heavy rainfall about to start training between there and Cape Girardeau. Tonight is going to be very ugly for the OH valley. EDIT: Poplar bluffs has picked up about 1" in 30 minutes. These are rates similar to what Fayetteville saw earlier. They have had 8.33" since Friday prior to this wave moving in, METAR KPOF 252353Z AUTO 19008G20KT 160V230 3/4SM +TSRA BR VV004 17/16 A2957 RMK AO2 PK WND 31029/2303 LTG DSNT ALQDS SLP011 P0216 60226 T01670161 10217 20161 55023 METAR KPOF 260053Z AUTO 35004KT 2 1/2SM TSRA BR BKN009 BKN015 OVC049 16/16 A2959 RMK AO2 LTG DSNT ALQDS SLP019 P0189 T01610156
