CT Rain
I fixed the audio on these 3 clips. Unfortunately there is no footage from the worst hit neighborhood where the F4 damage occurred in the Poquonock section of Windsor.

Damage In Tolland
Poquonock Ave is where I work now. That must have been right where the TOR passed thru

CT Rain
Poquonock Ave is where I work now. That must have been right where the TOR passed thru It was probably north of where you worked. It touched down at the very northern tip of Windsor (near the Poquonock Elementary School) and did F4 damage behind the school and then weakened to F1/F2 as it passed near the airport in Windsor Locks and moved into Suffield. CoastalWx
Thinking about this storm just made me realize something interesting. With this recent severe wx outbreak..it's unusual to have so many tornadoes, but none (that I'm aware of) were EF4's or greater. I think one of the reason's there weren't any EF4's in NC was due to CAPE. We had 1500J of ML CAPE, but we didn't have the real big ML CAPE to sustain violent updrafts needed for strong tornadoes. What we did have was shear that was through the roof...and given some CAPE to help with updrafts and stretching the column...boom! This was plenty of CAPE for the phenomenal amount of shear that was present.
