LocoAko
Check it out - http://www.spc.noaa.gov Thoughts? I hated it initially but I am beginning to enjoy the ability to overlay counties, population centers, etc. Just gonna take some getting used to. isohume
It's been out for a while. Seems old hat now. lol
Ian
I think I like it. Better than some of the other modifications they've made to NOAA sites.
flwxwatcher45
I like the new look!!
Ellinwood
Like the overlays... polys/colors are a little interesting.
earthlight
I like the overlays, not a fan of the colors..especially the yellow color for the slight risk.
johnc
Seems fine but I wish they would switch the TSTM / SLGT category colors so that it matches their previous scheme (or, if they're going to stay with the current color scheme, make it consistent across both displays). Also if they're going to shade it they might be better off dropping the labels and arrows / borders. For the graphical shapes I would try to implement some kind of smoothing algorithm. johnc
I've been meaning to put this info on a google map for many months now, but every time I think about how to implement the "right of a line" context my brain starts to hurt. The closed polygons are pretty easy... it's those open lines that go off the shorelines that are evil.
SEMIweather
It's #winning especially the county overlay part. Agree with those that want them to go back to a green color for the SLGT risk...other than that I like it a lot.
LVblizzard
I love it, but it would be even better if the original colors were retained.

Jim Marusak
the main complaint from me is the color scheme, yea i like that old scheme better. that being said, i like the layering and such. wonder about the color scheme, how much of it is change for change's sake and how much is it for potential color-blindness issues (those with problems with red and blue-green)? Superstorm93
Meh... I like the old color scheme much better than this new one. Brown and yellow? Otherwise, I think the county overlays are an excellent addition.
hm8
I like it. And big props to the SPC...to more or less completely redesign something people have been using the same way for a long time, and only get complaints on the color scheme, is impressive. DaculaWeather
Some of the colors they use to use weren't easily distinguishable for color blind people. One out of twelve men and one out of two hundred women are color blind.
BadgerWXman
I love it... no problems with any of it.
