Could this event go down as one of the biggest outbreaks in recorded history for the southeast?

Yes...again it started last night in Texas..same outbreak...Non=stop tornado warnings..and many reports no gaps in conformed tornadoes

150 tornadoes seems possible..many wind damage last night will be confirmed to be tornadoes

TORNADO ON THE GROUND. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR FAIRVIEW...OR

ABOUT 10 MILES EAST OF CULLMAN...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 65 MPH.

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

HULACO...JOPPA...RYAN CROSSROADS...ARAB AND EDDY.

Yup. Huntsville, too.

I believe there are over half a million people in the greater Birmingham area.

Well over 1 million. The areas that are being hit so far are full of small towns, but the overall population density is actually fairly high.

PARRISH AROUND 445 PM CDT.

JASPER AND CORDOVA AROUND 450 PM CDT.

LYNNS PARK...CURRY AND 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF BELOIT AROUND 455 PM

CDT.

OTHER LOCATIONS IMPACTED BY THE TORNADO INCLUDE WEST CORONA...

If you are counting both days, then yes, I think we'll easily see over 150 tornado reports.

Keep in mind, the 148 tornados in the Super Outbreak was over a 24 hour period.

AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 75 MPH.
